This really resonated. I’m in my mid 30s and left my career last year for a one-year sabbatical, but I haven’t missed working at all and love the freedom of time and creativity I have in my life. I kinda feel crazy for even thinking of not going back on the job market, but is it crazy? And agreed, traveling and moving (new country every month) became exhausting and I’m going to settle in Uruguay for a while. Glad to understand I’m not alone in these thoughts.

The two of you are so inspiring! I'm always amazed at people who let go of the "should" and follow the dream. I also love how you are staying committed to your health and your relationship. We discovered that our "retirement" has included coffee every morning where we just check in with each other. Now, when that can't happen, the day just feels off. Excited to follow your journey and see what the next seven years bring! Come visit Portugal!
